2008 4 CYLINDER RULES
 
On occasions situations may arise that are not precisely covered in these rules. All rulings and interpretations of the rules included herein or those excluded will be made exclusively by Richmond Raceway Management & Officials and their decisions will be final.
 
BODY
Stock bodies or aluminum bodies can be used. Inner door panels and inner hood frame may be removed. Also, front inner wheel well may be removed. All cars must have front and rear firewalls in original position. Cars must have full floor pan in driver area. Doors must be welded shut. Cars can run Nerf bars between front and rear tires. Cars can run 4-inch rear spoiler. Boxing inside of car body is allowed. Driver window must have a safety net. Driver safety is a priority!
 
ENGINES
May be balanced with any grind cam with a bore up to 120 over. All other engine parts must be stock. Carburetors, intakes, and manifolds must be STOCK PARTS. Headers Are Okay.
 
SUSPENSION
Stock suspension, and the shocks must be in their stock location. All Shocks, Lower A-Frames, & Upper A-Frames Must Be Stock Parts. NO RACING SHOCKS. (Any shocks or springs that you can buy at your local Auto Parts Store, just no Afco, Billstein, or etc. because they are considered Racing Shocks)
 
DRIVE TRAIN
Stock transmission, automatic or 4-speed manual only, with STOCK REAR-END ONLY. Must Run A Torque Tube On Rear-end. Locked Rear-ends and Cut Flywheels Are Okay. ALL DRIVESHAFTS AND TORQUE TUBES MUST BE PAINTED WHITE
 
WHEELS AND TIRES
Wheels may be 13" x 8" or 14" x 8" with 1" lug nuts. Racing Wheels Are Okay To Run. Any DOT Stamped Radial Street Tire. 50, 60, or 70 Series Tires Are Okay. No snow or mud tires may be used. NO RACING TIRES.
 
BATTERY AND FUEL TANKS
All batteries and fuel tanks must be secured in place with steel straps. Batteries must be covered. All cars are required to have a fuel cell. GASOLINE ONLY
 
WEIGHT RULE
1825 with driver after a race (All weights must be bolted properly- no excuse or exceptions). ALL WEIGHTS MUST BE SECURED AND PAINTED WHITE.
 
MISCELLANEOUS RULES
1st Disqualification – Start Money Only, 2nd Disqualification – 2 Week Suspension, 3rd Disqualification – Suspended For Remainder of Year
ALL CARS MUST HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER. Fire suites are mandatory.
